Back this spring I had the privilege of photographing this Walton Farms on Buffalo Creek Bridal Session. Now that Shawn & Laura are married, I finally get to share these! Waiting to share bridal sessions is always the worst part! Laura look amazing in her vintage inspired lace gown accompanied by her twine wrapped bouquet of wildflowers and cowboy boots. The Walton Farm made a perfect setting for this southern bride’s sensibilities and we ended up with gorgeous light and a perfect sunset to wrap up the session. The farm even had their vintage couch available to us for photos in the field.
A little tip for the bride-to-be, a bridal session makes for a perfect opportunity to do a test run for your wedding day. Laura looked fantastic during her bridal session, but discovered she wanted her dress altered differently once she had more time to move and walk in the dress. She also decided to switch up her hair style the day of the wedding after the wearing it in curls during bridal session. I highly recommend bridal sessions for brides who want to work out the last few details for their wedding day look. And hey! Why not take some amazing photos while you’re at it?
